1. How can we make the village centre better?:
Ensure the appartments due to be built by the Prince of Wales are in keeping with the architecture of Moseley. It should be vertually impossible to tell that these apartments are new. The ground floor of these appartments could include a Marks & Spensor's or a Watrose. Ensure a noise survey is carried out and that the appartments incorporate the necessary sound insulating measures. It would be a great shame if the appartments killed off the vibrant Prince Of Wales pub. Their beer garden has become the 'place to be' on a sunny day.
4. What should we do to protect or improve our historic buildings and parks?:
The old hospital buildings on Anderton Park Road should be repossessed and turned into appartments - before they fall down!!! Developers purposly run down listed buildings so they can eventually knock them down and build something cheeper. This should be illegal.
5. How can we provide more things to do for young and older people?:
Encourage young people to use the Epic climbing centre and skate park. Free tickets/vouchers could be given out at certian times.
Any other suggestions you would like to make that will help make Moseley a better place:
Moseley needs to work in collaboration with Kings Heath and Balsall Heath, as well as the rest of Birmingham. Moseley is not a town or a village in its own right. It is a subburb of a city. Mosely cannot improve if Balsall Heath or Kings Heath decline. It is just too small. Likewise if Balsall Heath or Kings Heath improve Moseley will benifit also.
